Clinic Director


Plans, organizes, and directs the essential administrative functions of the Clinic. Coordinates and directs patient care according to regulations and accepted accreditation standards. Works with the Medical Staff to coordinate the functions of patient care services. Responsible for management of all departments of the Clinic.


  • Prepares staffing schedules, including coordination of vacations and holidays; reviews daily time and attendance sheets.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the performance of the patient care staff and counsels as appropriate.
  • Assists in formulating the Clinic's budget.
  • Promotes positive and effective working relationships among the health care team.
  • Oversees all annual reviews for all departments within the Clinic.
  • Makes daily staff assignments and delegates duties according to experience and skill level.

    Regional Urology, LLC was founded in 1998 and is now one of the largest single-specialty clinics in the Ark-La-Tex. Regional Urology boasts accomplished urologists in a clinic setting as well as an on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center.The practice has a research department, an on-site pathology lab, a clinical laboratory, and the ability to perform diagnostic imaging with ultrasound, CT, x-ray, and a 3.0 Tesla MRI.Regional Urology is known for providing cutting edge and high-quality urology care and is proud to serve the community in 5 locations across north and central Louisiana.

    Regional Urology is seeking an experienced Controller.The Controller will work closely with executive management on strategic and tactical planning as it relates to budget management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting of expenses.The Controller will also be responsible for patient accounting, accounts payable and overseeing the finances of the four entities under the Regional Urology, LLC umbrella.The Controller oversees the accounting department and business office. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

    -Interacts with clinic management staff in developing the strategic plan and its financial planning component.

    -Oversees and directs budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-range forecasting, and 401k audits for the organization.

    -Evaluates the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

    -Develops and implements financial policies, creates, researches and develops innovative advances for the ongoing financial stability of the corporation.

    -Assures implementation of internal controls and generally accepted accounting procedures accounting.

    -Supervises the analysis of costs and makes rate recommendations to ensure appropriate income/cash flow.

    -Prepares annual budget and grant budgets.

    -Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the organization's annual tax and other reports.

    -Prepares financial and statistical reports required by the CEO, Board of Directors, Senior Management Team, and State/Federal regulations and program requirements.

    -Oversees the recruitment, supervision, training, and evaluation of the Finance department staff.

    Performs monitoring procedures pertinent to the anesthetic management of the patient and according to the type of anesthetic administered.

    Provides postoperative anesthesia care of the patient.

    Transfers care and reports to the postoperative nurse.

    When necessary, performs and documents postoperative visit to check the patient's vital signs and complications related to the anesthesia care.

    Maintains knowledge of current Standards and Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care (American Heart Association).

    Recognizes and takes appropriate corrective action for abnormal patient responses to anesthesia, adjunctive medication, or other forms of therapy.









    5 years of experience preferred in an Ambulatory Surgery Center environment.


    Customer Care Coordinator


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    Schedule appointments for patients.

    o Answer the telephone promptly and in a professional manner.

    o Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into AllScripts (address, telephone number, name of insurance or self-pay status).

    o Schedule appointment accurately and review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with caller.

    o Inform patient of items to bring to appointment (including insurance card, medications, office visit fees).

    o Remind patient to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete paperwork.

    o Remind patient of cancellation/no-show policy.

    o Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization

    Act as a liaison for the patients and the Health Center:

    o Transfer calls to the appropriate staff member

    o Use sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients.

    o Understand when to escalate calls to physicians/supervisor/triage nurse.

    Service patients

    o Make reminder calls as requested.

    o Make calls to reschedule appointments when necessary.

    o Provide assistance with mailings and other projects as call volume permits.

    Lab Assistant

    Reports To: Lab Supervisor

    The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing various tests and reporting results. They are also accountable for ensuring all necessary tests are completed accurately and in a timely manner.


    Essential Functions

    • Maintain a clean, professional and safe working environment in the laboratory.
    • Complete all necessary testing and ensure all data leaving the lab is accurate and precise.
    • Follow the lab’s established corrective action and critical value procedures.
    • Work in an honest and ethical manner; maintain patient confidentiality AT ALL TIMES.
    • Personnel are expected to physically report to work on time and to seldom be absent.
    • Maintain a team environment within the lab and with other departments at all times.
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a friendly atmosphere.
    • Record refrigerator/freezer temperature, room temperature and room humidity each day.
    • Run controls and calibrations as specified in the procedure manual.
    • Monitor analyzer supply needs and change as needed.
    • Obtain request for lab test and verify all tests that are needed.
    • Verify patients’ FULL name and date of birth.
    • Obtain ABN for Medicare patients if indicated.
    • Label blood tubes with patients’ name, date of birth, Kredo # and tech’s initials.
    • Perform venipuncture or finger stick per procedure manual.
    • Provide adequate time for blood tubes to clot.
    • Gently mix blood collection tubes by inverting 8-10 times immediately after collection.
    • Spin blood tubes to obtain adequate amount of serum for patient testing; monitor centrifuge speed and time.
    • Perform PSA, freePSA, Testosterone, CBC, Chem 8+ and Creatinine on the ISTAT and PT/INR according to the procedure manual.
    • Maintain Cumulative Log and document time.
    • Initial FINAL lab report and place in designated area.
    • Input lab values AS NEEDED.
    • Perform maintenance and cleaning on analyzers as needed.
    • Troubleshoot as need arises.
    • Perform environmental cleaning at the end of each day as specified in procedure manual.
    • Monitor need for lab supplies, make sure work area is fully stocked and check for expired
    • inventory at the end of the month.
    • Perform lab proficiency testing through American Proficiency Institute 3 times per year.
    • Complete requisitions for reference labs as ordered and draw specimen(s) as indicated.
    • Prepare send-out specimens for pick up and place in designated area at the end of shift.
    • Maintain state lab assistant license by obtaining 12 CEUs yearly.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Education & Experience Requirements/Competencies


    To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate and provide the following:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.(required)
    • State Lab Assistant License. (required)
    • Basic troubleshooting skills and prior analytical experience. (preferred)
    • Previous experience to the concepts of quality assurance and quality control within the laboratory environment.

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements


    This position is largely self-directed and requires a thorough understanding of company policy and procedures. Personnel will be required to adhere to safety requirements at all times. Within the lab, personnel will work on a computer and be exposed to noise, hazardous chemicals and potentially infectious bodily fluids.

    Medical Assistant I

    We are a large medical practice with an immediate opening for a certified medical assistant


    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to include greeting, escorting, and assessing a diverse patient population.
    • Prepares patients for examination and treatment of various urologic procedures.
    • Must be familiar and comfortable with urologic anatomy.
    • Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
    • Ensures that exam rooms are prepped, cleaned, and stocked in preparation for patients and between patients as required.
    • Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
    • Must be able to demonstrate competency in sterile technique.
    • Gives injections and perform necessary procedures as required (bladder scans, catheter insertion/changes, etc).
    • Must be able to utilize electronic medical records for documentation.
    • Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, previous surgical procedures, and medication changes.

    EDUCATION : High school degree or GED diploma is required, plus completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Some advanced training in typing and office procedures and knowledge of medical terminology are also required .

    Required Certification, Registration, and/or Licensure: Current CPR certification, plus certification, registration or diploma as a medical assistant.

    EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 year’s experience preferred in a physician’s practice or clinic setting.

    Medical Dosimetrist I

    The medical dosimetrist will be a member of the radiation oncology team and must have knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment. Is knowledgeable of procedures commonly used in Radiation Oncology including IMRT and has the education and expertise necessary to generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist.


    Create radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and various imaging modalities

    Interprets and delineates anatomy and anatomical positioning on various imaging modalities.

    Performs or assists in the planning of the production of molds, casts, and other immobilization devices.

    Provides physics and technical support to the Medical Physicist, in radiation protection, qualitative machine calibrations, and quality assurance of the radiation oncology equipment.

    Must be able to understand the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to derive computerized treatment plans, and communicate these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist for plan approval, and to the Radiation Therapist for plan implementation.

    Performs routine duties and consults with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as required.

    Has the ability to interpret and execute treatment plans as defined in relevant treatment protocol

    Must possess mathematical skills including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus and be able to visualize objects in three-dimensional concepts to facilitate the treatment planning process

    Chemotherapy/Infusion Registered Nurse – Advance Prostate Therapy Clinic


    Job Duties:

    Mixing and Administering of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy at an outpatient setting

    Provide Patient Education on new treatment regimens

    Manages Chemotherapy Infusion Center

    Orders medications and supplies, oversee daily clinic operations

    Manage Bone Health Clinic

    Oversee operations for bone health patients undergoing ADT therapy, including ordering Prolia, Xgeva and Eligard

    Scheduling Nurse I

    Large multi-physician medical practice has an immediate opening for an RN for a surgery scheduling position. Previous experience is required. Responsibilities include scheduling of all testing and surgical procedures, working with the hospital and joint vendors to secure all needed equipment for the procedures, scheduling/obtaining medical clearances as ordered, coordinating all testing needed and completing necessary paperwork for procedures and testing.

    Receives instructions from physicians about which surgery or test is recommended.

    Schedule surgery and post-operative follow up visits

    Discusses pre-operative instructions with the patient, as directed by physicians.

    Schedules operating room time, according to physician scheduling protocols; faxes H&P to hospital admitting department.

    Educate patients how to prepare for surgery and what to expect post operatively

    Schedules all appropriate pre-operative tests and blood work.

    Coordinates all business and clinical paperwork prior to surgery, using physician-approved forms and checklists; has paperwork ready for surgeon prior to the day of surgery

    Verify all clearances are complete prior to surgery
